Reviewed October 23, 2021Nose: dense fog, date and caramel. Light pepper and lemon with the Caol ila malty note. Taste: dense sherry fig with caramel, vanilla, honey. The peat is in the finish but barely there. Presents as a burnt rosemary floral note. Water opens up the general Caol ila profile with the sherry in the background as figs and a bit of a sour taste. -

Reviewed December 9, 2020Smoke and lemon drops On the nose there is rich tarry iodine peat. Deeper is lemon and citrus, hints of tropical fruit Taste reveals an oily body, a simultaneous flavor of smoke, caramel sweetness, and bright citrus that subsides to a gentle and sweet smoky long finish long with peat smoke, iodine, caramel, wood smoke, and some residual citrus
