Ok, if you are a fan of the challenging flavors in peated Scotch, but want more than just smoke, this will be something for you to try. It is really interesting, complex, and tasty, like a peaty Scotch, but different too, I enjoyed the experience of trying to think through it nearly as much as the dram itself.

Nice smoke without being over powering

Light sweet vanilla flavor that quickly gets taken over by smoke. Finish is a bite/burnt

Nose - strong currants, almost wine like, some floral notes, light and sweet under the richness Palette - rich and silky, some grain notes along with almonds and dark berries Finish - lingering rounded sweetness, rich, slight spice at the edge of your tongue, light burn

Sweet smokey aromas on the nose with a hint of spice. Sweet tones as soon as it touches your palate with a very spicy finish.

Aroma is incredibly subdued with nothing much happening beyond some sweet smoke and a touch of fruit; Palate follows suite, but it’s missing that bit of earthiness from the aroma; Finish is quite nice, but shockingly short.
