Not much on the nose. Maybe a little spice, vanilla.
Palate has vanilla, butterscotch, and a hint of spice.
Finish is nice and mild. But more spice that lingers a bit for a little ending hug.
Definitely a solid bottle. Would always grab one if you can find it in the wild anymore.

Nose: Balanced sweet oak
Pallet: Oak and char that turns to a touch bitter spice
Finish: baking spice and vanilla
What I would consider a traditional bourbon all around and a bottle that you could drink all of the way down. Different than a barrel proof that needs the proof to give the flavor body but burns the pallet.
It took a long time and a number of favors to get this bottle but I’m on a journey to find another ;)
Wonderful nose … vanilla dominates for me. Maybe some marshmallow. Nothing off putting and no ethanol.
On the taste, sweetness of vanilla bit of caramel and honey.
Not a long finish … in fact a bit short but nice mouth feel. Get a tad of bitterness on the end, but that could be due to some other pours I’ve had earlier. So a bit of a lower rating I would normally give due to that.
