Vanilla, oak, and campfire.

Some whiskies are like big, bad wolves – huffing and puffing, frantically trying to flatten your house. Other whiskies are the quietest zephyrs which, nevertheless, blow you to smithereens. Nose: Cream, strawberry mousse, peach, Rich Tea biscuits, toasted grain, hay bale Taste: Sweet mmmmmm arrival, deliciously light, orange and clove, barley sugar, and a hint of rhubarb Finish: Dry, short to medium, lemon drops Masterful simplicity and balance.

Really good. Gotta be honest, not sure I could pick out what style of whiskey this is. You have to put 3-4 drops of water in this. It's a game changer. Cereal notes explode with nice toasted grain and more vanilla and spice. Many notes similar to Bourbon. (not a shock given the Barrels used) This whiskey is about the finish. The burst of flavor is nice, but really subtle. The finish on the other hand is lingering and really nice. Vanilla & caramel Aroma stays true.

Baseline, simple flavors. The blend evens out.
