Coppersea Excelsior Bourbon

Seems very young, get bad grain notes, sour and bitter, can’t get distinct notes due to the raw notes

Has the astringent taste of most young craft bourbons.

Nose - peaches and green sap, slightly astringent Palette - green wood, some caramel Finish - sweet but astringent, medium burn

Dark molasses and caramel aroma, taste is heavy and sweet. Sweetness is molasses and peach. Proof goes well with flavors and richness. Wood burn is excellent, medium to high richness. Actually reminds me a ton of Curry sark prohibition.

High spice. This was done in conjunction with some others and was not the favorite. Black pepper is very prominent.

Nose - Honey and cayenne pepper. Spicy caramel candy. Palate - Peppery, hot. Cinnamon red hots candy. Sweet peach hint. Finish - Hot finish but nice.
