Deanston Virgin Oak

On the nose a very young sweet malt, honey, cereals and citric. Honey, cereal from malt and spicy. Short finish.

Herbal, sweet and floral are not usually in my wheelhouse. Still enjoyed this one though.

A very straight up the middle bourbon casked Speyside. Honey, cereal grains, a bit of ambiguous fruit and floral notes. It’s not reinventing the wheel, but very enjoyable.

Sweeter, bright, oak, light and easy.

I like this one just fine. Not the best thing from Deanston but definitely a nice drinkable dram. Rich honeyed cereal and a nice finish make this one pretty enjoyable.
