Tasting Notes

"The nose has a respectable amount of rye spice, some caramelized sugar, and freshly cut firewood. There's more wood on the palate, but the rye is tasty and the corn provides a nice roundness. It has a medium body with a smooth, almost cool finish. This would make a very fine Manhattan, indeed. If the price point remains low, this is a value whiskey to seek out. "
