Del Maguey Chichicapa Mezcal

This one is so tasty, balancing the smoke and minerality with a nice touch of sweetness. The palate lingers and evolves with notes of white pepper and tobacco. Well worth the price and an awesome inclusion in a tasting along with a stronger maguey like tobala or tobasiche.

That tastes and smells like a cleaner

Very complex and tasty mezcal. A nice grapefruit, specks of floral notes, roasted pineapple sweetness that then turns into a mesquite/juniper wood notes. Mango skin, clay, chili pepper and wood smoke follow near the end. The finish is somewhat medium length, with a solid amount of minerality and smokiness.

Nose: mesquite, aloe, cucumber, hay Mouth: citrus, mint, vegetal, salt Finish: grilled pineapple, smoked meat 

Auto shop rag, barnyard, and hay on the nose (all in a good way). Vegetable and auto shop on the palate initially (again, in a good way) followed by more smoke, autoshop, and barnyard hay in the finish.
