Del Maguey San Luis del Rio Mezcal

It has an aromatic birth with notes of roasted agave, red & green pepper, a hint of smoky bacon & citrus blossom; while an oak-y life adds notes of white pepper & creamy caramel & smoke; that led to a long & complex death with notes of smoked meats, sharp apple & a hint of floral vanilla. Def better than the vida, which has a faint butterscotch note that is much more prominent w/ the mediocre chichicapa expression. This is richer more conplex than the vida and lacks the slight spirity note in the vida. Vida is still solid, but having tried this, i’ll reach for this every time.

Nose of wood, smoke, earth, orange, agave, mint and salt air. Woody and smoky, earthy and charred with a touch of orange.

Woody sea breeze, & white pepper on the nares. Smoky leather on the palate.
