Nose: Honey and heather at the forefront, quite a lot of sweet peat, a hint of smoke behind, some brine, sweet candy apples, a faint hint of bacon, some sherry barrel notes, pear, sweet berry medley (blackberry, cranberry, raspberry), some tangy dark red plum, small hints of lemon and iodine, honeyed maltiness, some butterscotch, some barrel spice and fresh chilli pepper spice, some milk chocolate covered cranberries and raisins, light floral notes (white flowers), a hint of speyside mintiness, some funky grass notes, funky deep barley sugar, small touch of vanilla and caramel covered in wood sugars
Palate: white pepper spice surrounded by sweet honey, green grapes, caramel candy apple, wood shavings, lemon peel, green apples, underripe dark red plum, some sweet peat and a wisp of bonfire smoke with some chilli pepper, deep and funky barley sugar
Finish: Light speyside mint and herbs, slight anice, barrel bitterness, some green grapes, medium dark chocolate, sweet white pepper spice, pencil shavings, light peat and smoke, hint of apple medley (green and red)
