Dingle // Ireland
Dingle Original Gin is technically a London Dry gin, but its botanicals lean towards a modern style by using rowan berry, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorne, and heather among others. Dingle is a town located on the rugged Dingle Peninsula on the west coast of Ireland. The distillery makes whiskey and vodka in addition to the gin.

Modern GinAlso has been referred to as "Contemporary", "New Western", "New Wave", and "New American". This style is not legally defined. In general, this category of gin, while it does contain juniper, places less of an emphasis on this botanical. Other botanicals not classically used in London Dry gins are often utilized and often highlight botanicals grown in the region the gin is produced. Tasting Notes
"It is apparent this gin is created using the London Dry style. Crisp and piney aromas give it that classic gin feel. A little time in the glass brings forward spicy floral notes. The palate reveals a jammy quality followed by eucalyptus and peppery ginger root. Not a complicated gin but delivers all the right flavors for a great traditional cocktail. Recommend trying this with a Mediterranean tonic water and a slice of pink grapefruit. "
