Tasting Notes
"Making gin in San Francisco, ageing in wine barrels must have been an appealing experiment to try. It's one that has paid off beautifully here. Whereas many barrel-aged gins feature a clash of botanicals and charred-oak whiskey casks, the Cabernet Sauvignon barrels used here lend a rich, fruity character with notes of currants and vanilla. Complemented by the bold botanicals, including the standout cardamom, it's a lovely spirit that would undoubtedly show well in cocktails."
