Smoke on the nares. Smoky to the palate. Overall delicious

Smoke, ash, wood, and roasted corn nose. Sweet, woody, with mild to moderate smoke.

The nose has notes of green peppers, a wet minerality like being in a limestone cave, and smoldering campfire ash after a light rain. Warm, slightly oily mouthfeel. The palate has an excellent earthy sweetness, with green peppers, heavily charred marshmallows, bay leaves, black pepper, faint orange peel and lime zest, and a gentle smokiness. The finish is long and mineraly, with lingering black pepper, citrus and a wisp of smoke. Overall, this is incredibly light and refreshing. I could see this becoming a nightly sipper, especially on hot summer nights (or afternoons).

The nose has a nice musty, smokey/peaty scent. The flavor profile is pretty intense. Sweet and extremely woody with plenty of smoke. It finishes with a pleasant musty/rotting wood accent. My favorite part of this pour is the silky smooth, almost buttery, soft-yet-thick mouthfeel. My mouth retains a beautiful smoked agave essence well after the burn has subsided. 4.15.
