Super smooth

The spicy, rich-smoke, and earthy notes introduced in the first sip of this agave recipe are quickly checked by the sweet, ripened fruit characteristics that draw each mouthful to a close. For two weeks on a recent Puerto Vallarta, Mexico vacation with family, Don Julio Anejo and I became fast friends for sipping every evening accompanied by lively music, a solid cigar selection, and rooftop bar conversations. DJA is a well-aged tequila at an acceptable price point. It has become one of my go to sippers. Had I been able, via the Distiller app, I would have given DJA a 4.3 rating instead of 4.0 Enjoy Don Julio Anejo, a nifty nectar fit for daily digestion.

This was good, with rich honey and agave flavors.
