Suerte Extra Añejo Tequila is a single-barrel release aged for seven years in charred American white oak whiskey barrel.
Tequila Extra AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least 3 years in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Extra Añejo tequilas are also known as "ultra aged".
Cask Typecharred white oak whiskey barrels
"The extended time in Jack Daniels barrels has softened and rounded the Extra Añejo. The nose offers cherry, chocolate and oak. The creamy mouthfeel on the palate is reminiscent of flan, with agave on the back end. The long finish lingers with holiday spices, agave and a hint of smoke."
