Don Julio Reposado Double Cask Lagavulin Finish

Heavy alcohol on the nose. But upon taste it is hidden by the lagavulin cask taste and a smooth and warm finish. Easily one of my favorite Tequilas

This is really nice! I love a good smokey scotch so this was a fun drink. Still get all of those teq flavors with a little scotch smoke and oak on the finish.

The nose is almost exactly what you would expect - agave and peat in a very unique pairing with a briny undertone. The taste just works - it adds just enough smoky peat to complement the freshness of the agave and creates a very unique profile. If you like scotch, this just might be the tequila to try.
