Don Julio Reposado Tequila

Appearance: clear to straw-like. Almost like a thinly colored white wine. Nose: oak, agave, and slight lime citrus. Taste: fruit forward but without the lime citrus. Pretty agave forward, but maybe a bit vegetal. Some white pepper too. Overall: easy drinking and lacks that punchy lime-like agave burn. Would make a good mixer as it screams of subtlety.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Very pale like a white wine with a bit more legs; 👃: The typical vegetal tequila smell, with whiffs of sugar cubes, a little vanilla bean, oak on the back end, the alcohol burns your nose like vinegar; 👅: Some intense sweetness at the front along with a little tartness, that vinegar carries through, white pepper notes; 🏁: There's a little lingering bitterness at the end that stays quite a bit, there's some oak, not too complex or nuanced, pretty simple but does its job.

Tono dorado muy claro, aceitoso, piernas marcadas. Aroma a vainilla,caramelo,madera con una presencia media de alcohol. En boca el dulce sobresale con un porcentaje medio/alto de alcohol, final corto y suave. La madera tambien se percibe al momento de paladear. Por su precio y calidad, lo recomiendo.
