Dunville's Very Rare 10 Year

Simply delicious! It’s quite rich, with a very pleasant sweetness and a good complexity that makes every sip enjoyable, the higher proof keeps it in check so, it is much better than dessert!

A very fruity and sherry influenced nose, some vanilla and spice as well, making for a lighter and fresher profile than I’d expect from a sherry finished whiskey. The palate is surprisingly sweet and almost tropical fruit flavored. It really reminds me of some flavors I’d get from a Capri Sun or some other sugary kids drink. The finish is dry with mostly vanilla twinges. Not too complex but well done and enjoyable.

Lots of sherry on the nose… candied bananas fried with rum. The palate is very sweet with spice, vanilla, and oak. The finish is… smooth, a little but of peppered, but that gives way to more rum soaked candied bananas. A very yummy whiskey!
