Reviewed January 9, 2022 (edited June 3, 2022)Hidden Gem of a Dram! Underrated and Under Appreciated. Way better than the Original 1783 Offering which was under Proofed at 43% ABV/86 Proof. I get Sourdough Raisin Bread and Chocolate Tootsie Rolls! There’s way more to explore here. Do not pass this up! Even if you’re a Veteran, or a Rookie Bourbon Drinker; this is a Must Pour for everyone who LOVES Bourbon Whiskey or Scotch Whisky. I used to be a Buffalo Trace/Frankfort guy but thier horrible leadership has open the door to many I wouldn't have tried before and I'm glad i have found some I would have had before and this is one of them. Very underrated obviously not the best but very good. As normal had it neat -

Reviewed January 6, 2022I prefer the black label. Might be because it was aged in white oak? Gave it a flavor that wasn't appealing. -

Reviewed December 19, 2021 (edited June 3, 2022)This is nice for the price. Vanilla upfront with light caramel and oak in the middle and a bit of a chocolate finish. Not a lot of heat. Muted peanut note.
