Fanged Pursuit is a release from Diageo's Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. portfolio which features rare and nearly forgotten barrels of whiskey. Aged for 17 years, this Kentucky straight bourbon is made from a mash bill recipe of 68-74% corn, 18-22% rye, and 8-10% malted barley.
The label depicts a Kentucky bobcat prowling its native Bluegrass State's forests. Bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV, this limited edition is available at select retailers nationwide beginning March 2025. (SRP $200).

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is a mix of vanilla, tobacco leaves, and charred oak, but seems a bit simple for an extra-aged bourbon. It's soft on the palate initially and moves towards a spicy, leaner finish with a tangy bittersweet profile. Finish has a little chew to it with a balanced mix of sweet and spice, but flavor wise seems a bit flat. Serviceable, but not one to seek out."
