FEW Straight Rye

Quality seemed fine just not the flavor profile for me.

Nose: caramel, spice, earthy/herbal , woody, dried fruit. Distillery says eucalyptus, and that’s just right. Palate: oily, spicy, apples/pears, woody as hell. Finish: brown sugar and spice, plus a little oak at the end, long and yummy. Really good.

Nose of spiced apples and charred barrels. Sweet on the palate with spice, pears, and caramel. The finish goes from the pears to spice and pepper, then lingers with caramel and oak.

Not very good neat or on rocks. Makes a decent old fashioned
