Reviewed June 27, 2023This one isnt too bad. Tastes of black coffee and apple pie, something my grandpa might like. You can find a slight wine influence, though the flavor profile leans much more towards a darker flavor profile. A nice lingering finish, some tabacco and oak. Theres quite a bit on the nose. Some citrus and breadiness to it. Its a solid pour, and for the price I'd buy it again. -

Reviewed November 12, 2022Batch #40 Young grain and hint of buttered popcorn on the nose. The palate leads off with that hint of butter then transitions to the sweet juicy fruit barrel finished notes before finishing with some rye spiciness. In a way this could be the cheaper, entry level cousin of some of the Barrell blended finished whiskeys. Got it in sale for for $20, given the price it's a nice light, sweet sipper.25.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed April 24, 2021Complex aroma with notes of berries and rye. Taste has rye, peppercorn, and perhaps sherry. And interesting, but young whiskey. Isn't nearly as rough as some younger whiskeys, but it could use a few more years in the barrel.
