Forty Creek Copper Pot Reserve

Delightfully enjoyed neat

What a revelation, an inexpensive Canadian whiskey that’s actually enjoyable! Toffee, caramel, clean copper and light ethanol on the nose. Sweet and creamy palate with toffee, caramel, milk chocolate, light baking spices and maybe some pecans. Finish is sweet and on the shorter side with a hint of baking spices and a transitory bitter note.

Not a ton of flavour, but does drink reasonably smooth for the price point.
