This one is like desert! It was my #1 pick at our Four Roses tasting and, luckily, I should be able to find it in TX.
Full nose and rich, silky mouth feel. Butterscotch and char are the primary flavors.
Neck pour
N: cherry, clove, rye spice, cinnamon, vanilla
P: cherry, caramel, spice
F: medium finish into chocolate
Solid. Loving the proof point on this.
Should open up nicely.

Managed to snag a bottle of this in Houston while down for a family funeral. This is a spice bomb - BIG cinnamon and nutmeg shaved over vanilla heavy creme brûlée dusted with dark chocolate. Rich, substantial mouthfeel with a long, spicy finish. Good stuff; not sure it’s quite a $50+ bourbon, but I have no regrets about trying it out.
Mildly sweet, with a gentle burn that doesn’t seem out of place. The spice goes away quickly, with the sweetness following and sticking around much longer. Great for sipping and sharing with anyone!
