G4 Reposado Tequila

First uncorking 🍾 Let sit for about 5 minutes since the bottle was frozen 👀: Light ochre and legs stuck to the walls in chunks; 👃: Agave and cube sugar abound; vegetal; some vanilla; 👅: Some spicy notes; sweetness at the end; vanilla; 🏁: Finish isn't that long; pineapple is detected; great finish!

Bought this bottle in Guadalajara, Mexico. Tried neat with @Looneyhead Super smooth on the palate and earthy

Herbal and green. Mild sweetness and vanilla from the aging. Really smooth. @twostal

The barrel aging adds a very subtle hint of vanilla. Other than that, it retains a good amount of the character of the blanco base, including that slight pepper tang, though it’s softer and more bell pepper-like. I like it slightly more though, as the barrel softens some of the sharper edges of the blanco.
