"The most striking thing about this gin is its color, a reddish-tinted yellow that's extremely unusual in a gin. Tasted blind, one might initially think it a traditional, if mild, dry gin. On the finish, however, the gentle spice of saffron lingers on long after the flavor of other botanicals has faded, recalling associations with golden-hued saffron rice. Its unusual color could create visually interesting cocktails, and its saffron infusion invites creating mixing with other spices."
