One of the better kept secrets in American whisky. Toffee, butter, caramel, a little coffee, corn and oak. It's probably the buttery taste and buttery mouth feel that keeps me wanting more. A great daily pour of classic Tennessee whisky. Most of us native Tennesseans know who the best distiller is - and it ain't the folks in Lynchburg. We call George Dickel 'The Doctor' for a reason. Bought my last handle of GD 12 in the Nashville area for about $31 in May 2016. Fantastic, delicious value.
