Stronger burn on aftertaste. Honey and oak

Another more in depth review after letting it breath for a bit. Butter scotch and shortbread cookie on the nose. Also pick up honey, apple, and stone fruit. On the palate I get apple, cinnamon, and sugar cookie. A good sipper but not quite as smooth as the first time.

First impressions where a not great and I had a lot of alcohol on the nose. I has been open about 1.5 weeks now and starting to open up. I get Carmel and vanilla with hints of oak and brown sugar. On the palate it starts out sweet with some sweet oak and then right into the rye spice the finish is medium with a slow burn on the palate that moves down to the chest. Overall not the most interesting pour, I would like to try the Remus Repel which I hear good things about.

Wonderful full flavor with light chocolate and vanilla notes. Taste is initial chocolate with an immediate bite of on the tongue but swallows really smooth

Buttery right from the start. Sweet but not too much. Mild and smooth. A touch of baking spice. Goes down very easy.

A bit hot.
