Glen Moray Elgin Classic Cabernet Cask Finish

There is an immediate sweetness similar to a slightly bitter honey, there is noticeable red wine notes that either come off as spicy and bold or a bit pungent and in some moments to me actually off putting. the finish isn’t very long but holds a spicy, semi-dry finish. this probably ranks 4/5 from the cask finish line. I found port to be more palatable, and the peated to be a good combo between peat and speyside sweetness.

Apple, Cabernet, barrel notes. Light smoke on the nose. Dry finish but thicker mouth feel than I was expecting considering the low proof.
