Reviewed June 6, 2023For < $50 US this is a great value and has become my everyday Scotch. It is not at all challenging but has a touch of smoke and complexity that elevates it above the classic Highlands (Glenlivet, Glenfiddich) IMO. And I don’t know, YMMV, but it’s just particularly tasty and appealing for me at this price point. -

Reviewed May 16, 2023 (edited August 20, 2024)Added two drops of water - Nose - reminds of bourbon, but has more weight to it. Sweet and chocolaty, vanilla, fruity. Tongue - Water really opens it up. Very sweet, but very spicy as well. Tastes like cherry, plums. Has a rum like character. Raisins probably. Very good. Would love to own a bottle. -

Reviewed May 16, 2023 (edited May 18, 2023)A beautiful sweet nose, but the palate is where this shines. It has a sweet and very oily. Its very lovely and sweet but the spice and charred barrels leads the way. Very great for any season of time of day!
