Glenfarclas 17 Year

A very good Glenfarclas! Nice taste and long lingering after you swallow.

Less of the cherry found in the 15, towards more of the complexity in older Farclas. Wounderful balance in this 17.

I’m not worthy yet. A deep sweet sherry bomb. Someday I bet I crave this.

First opened No water Nose - sweet, light grain “funk”, canned pear Taste - nice oily texture, damp wood. Smooth finish and the texture stays with you.

The most amazing nose - melon, raspberries, raisins, damp grass, fudge and dunked digestive biscuit. Dried fruits, caramel and damp wood arrival. A long spicy finish. With time, a pleasant candied strawberry note emerges.

Alcohol forward. Weak and thin for a 17 year old at 43 percent.
