Solid with fruity notes, but the peat flavor is a little strong compared to some other scotches I enjoy. I prefer macallen overall, but this bottle certaintly isnt bad.
Smooth, definitely getting a nice amount of sherry fruitiness, but it's not overpowering. Balanced, with a nice amount of honey, some very mild baking spice, and a moderate woodiness. Some bright citrus. Almost no heat to it. Finishes soft, doesnt really linger all that much, if anything theres a mild woodiness
sweet in the beginning, complex dram, dried fruit at the beginning as well, woody oakiness, bitter, watery... after the short taste, alcohol always present and more bitteness…
