Glenfiddich 15 Year Solera Reserve

A sweeter taste (not a bad thing) but lacking in the peat I enjoy. It goes for more of a smoky taste. Nice to drink but I think a bit too sweet

sweet in the beginning, complex dram, dried fruit at the beginning as well, woody oakiness, bitter, watery... after the short taste, alcohol always present and more bitteness…

Excellent malty scotch smell, flavors are magnificent. Glenfiddich with the richness dialed up, the flavors are the fruit and barley of scotch but they just pop way more than I expected. Perfect body, well balanced, could sip on this forever. Great if you're looking for something lighter than an islay but don't want to sacrifice the intensity.

A favorite of mine. I think it is smokey but not peaty, spice , woody and bit of fruit flavor.

Light vanilla, maple syrup, and baking spices (cinnamon) on the nose. The palate is rather soft, opening with barley sweetness quickly subsumed by an ashy peat impact. From the ashes (smirk), a defined almond/marzipan note fills out the mid-palate, finishing on Sun-Rype apple juice sweetness.

This is good.
