Reviewed November 26, 2022Nose- Sweet, Taste- cinnamon sticks, shortbread, more wood and barrel then a most Glenlivet to me but it's. It a brand I drink often. Finish- fades off to just a bit of spice and heat. Not doing a lot for me. -

Reviewed November 17, 2022Nose: Floral, fruity, definitely a Speyside Palate: Floral, pear, bright. A hint of smoke and peat but very subtle. Has a kick due to high ABV. Much more complex than the 12yr. Finish: Long and warm. Complex flavors settle in. One of the best Speysides I’ve tried. I am an Islay fan so some smoke and peat is a plus for me. -

Reviewed September 20, 2021 (edited October 7, 2022)This bottle is 60.6 ABV. Don’t know which batch. Nose: Sweet with lemon candies, malt, ginger, melon, tart citrus, oak, sandal wood and cinnamon. Palate: Viscous and semi-sweet with malt, honey, citrus, barrel spices, marzipan, marshmallow and hints of cherry and licorice. Finish: Medium length, subtle with malt, fruit and spice notes, plus a little butterscotch. This is a tasty, complex, throughly enjoyable whiskey.68.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 7, 2021 (edited September 20, 2021)The usual speyside notes cranked up to an eleven with a spicier and fruitier finish thanks to its 120+ proof. This is the only speyside scotch I’ve tied that has a 60%ABV strength and I loved it. I wish I had a glencairn to explore this beautiful scotch. Palate was all full body, sweet but spicy with honey suckle, plums, vanilla and pepper. The 48% first released is listed for 119. I had this at a party so not sure how much is the second release.Las Vegas
