Glenturret Triple Wood

Malty nose with orchard fruit. Taste of golden raisins reminicent of irish whiskey. The sherry cask is very apparant. Smoother than achentoshen three wood. Lingering finish of stone fruit.

Fruitful rich but light and smooth on the nose Very smooth on the first zip with light smokey taste with a continuing fruity taste

Quite a lit of gas and aggression. Lovely smoky smell. Smooth for a moment but then rhe aggression comes.

If you're not the kind of person who exclussively enjoys smooth whiskey, this might present itself as a good offering. It's rather spicey and comes with a bite. There is certain complexity to it but brings a rather short aftertaste. Will definetely look out for the older Glenturret expressions.
