Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis Alexandre

Far too sweet. A good liquor but not at this price point. At about 50% of retail it would be good if they reduce the overpowering sweetness.

I think the only time I had this on its own was on a train in Canada. That being said, it is pleasant, and I often incorporate it into cocktails, perhaps as an injustice.

Has a very nice candied orange flavor to it with a nice splash of barrel aged cognac backing

Easily the best value in the range. The base Rouge has to be syrupy sweet to mask mediocrity, this tastes of more than sugar.

Criminally underrated here. Much less sweet, one tastes good but unspectacular cognac with a great orange overnote. Way better than the basic Rouge. Yes, 1880 is objectively better. But this is a much, much better value.
