I found this bottle with a gift set that included two Glencairn glasses. So despite not being something I would normally drink, it was a great deal and I always like to have more Glencairns. Orange juice dominates the nose along with flowers, lemon zest, and cointreau. The palate is sweet cognac and orange creamsicle before a bitter finish with some pepper on the tongue. This is a very sweet drink suitable for sipping after dinner or maybe mixing in margaritas to add a little complexity. It’s also a good value for having some rich enjoyable flavors, but it is too sweet for this whisky drinker to enjoy more than an once or so at a time.

50ml neat in taster at home. Somehow this is the first time I can recall tasting GM. Nose is bitter orange, grape must, mild heat. Taste is more orange, coming on sweet then settling into bitter. Somewhat oily. Lingering bittersweet orange peel finish is nice. Like. 8/14/19
