Hakushu 12 Year

Peat smoke is very light but present. A light vanilla sweetness on the nose and on the palate. A mild fruitiness lingers throughout, a little bit of apple a bit of honey alongside oak. Has a lingering weigtiness/chewiness on the finish. If you let the finish sit for a minute before another sip you get some very nice apple notes.

Absolutely gorgeous, true Scotch style

Smooth, has a nice peatiness to it, nice chewiness. Very well balanced overall. Malt notes get a little chocolate/coffee

Smoky, peaty nose with pear, wood, lemon peel, leather, bourbon, umami, honey and brine. Unbelievably smooth palate, smoothly and somewhat lightly peaty, fruity and a little sweet, smoke, wood, pear, pepper and a touch of vanilla. Peppery and peaty finish.
