RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Aromas and flavors of banana peel and its fruit rush right to the front of the line like eager holiday shoppers. Keeping a steadier pace behind this flavor profile are herbal notes of dried sage and bay leaves, with sweet aromatic spices like cardamom, tonka bean, clove, cherry wood, and allspice (it tastes a bit like gingerbread with banana-vanilla cream). Because the whisky carries such dense, spicy aromatics, it benefits from a rock or two of ice, or one big one, to even it out. "
