The nose is loaded with baked rye bread, some vanilla and hints of oak & alcohol.
The viscosity is incredible and a very creamy on the palate. It’s as if im “eating” as well as enjoyably drinking this Rye.
There are definitely the notes of Rye, and the the initial taste is vanilla & bread, bur followed very quickly by the spice, ground pepper and heat of the Rye. This is 100-proof and flexes its higher-proof muscles to let you know what you’re dealing with when you drink it! The finish is warm and enjoyable. No “Kentucky Hug”
