Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Light caramel nose. Spicy initial flavor that mellows to a nice smooth caramel/vanilla/oak finish. I liked it better with a little time on a rock.

👃 Oat, oak, almond and a strong marischino cherry. Very nice 👄 Coats your mount with a sweet oily bourbon. Lots of toasted oak 🏁 Back to the complex, yet approachable flavors from the nose. I'd have guessed < 100 proof This is one of the first bottles I ever bought that got me interested in trying different bourbons, and it's still one of the best at this price point!

N- apple- wood- Carmel- vanilla- F- alcohol- leather- up front- then nice slow burn- warm- Carmel-leather- simmers- then just stays warm - still the best $45-$55 bottle you can find.

Better than last taste. Very faint on the nose and the taste is somewhat traditional but doesn’t follow the nose too much. Finish is on the shortish side but nothing really to offend. $35 bourbon. Don’t overpay

Nose has initial hit of alcohol followed by vanilla and caramel Palate of citrus and spice Finish has spicy char medium in length

Barrel 11873 barreled 11/2/11 Oak and vanilla in the nose, flavor is round with notes of cream, vanilla, and perhaps cinnamon. For $30, this was a steal, for$60 it's underwhelming.
