High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 11 (All Scenes)

Very happy woth the flavors, perfect for winter. Tough to describe but captures the holidays

Ive heard a lot of hype (my bottle is Scene 12). Its not that it's bad (it's not) but it tastes overdone with port wine. Almost to the point where you wonder is this rye finished with port wine or is this port wine rested in rye barrels. When a bourbon is overdone with the secondary finish, it makes you wonder if they're trying to dress up a very average bourbon or rye and put a high price on it. I wouldn't get this again for $149.

Deep fruity rye, i guess you could say raisin, plum. Has a winey, port finish similar to a thomas moore. I get why its considered a holiday favorite.
