High West A Midwinter Night's Dram

This is a delicious dram. Great finish thanks to the port barreling aging process. A little pricey for an LDI product but I'll buy this again next year.

Nose of leather and plum.. so delicious. This is an incredible experience for those into Rye and more especially for those that aren’t. Vanilla, cherry, a hint of leather and some more dried fruits to finish. Incredible.

Nose: Pine Cones, Cherry Coke, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Oak. Palate: Shallow, flat Diet Coke, oak, generic vanilla flavoring. Finish: oak, long finish for all the wrong reasons (not needed for this) Overall: High West brand is on my personal sniper cross hairs- There are plenty of NDP options that far exceed the quality of this offering- I don’t understand the hype and price of this bottle? It’s definitely sitting closer to the $30 range in regards to it’s complexity and depth.
