iichiko Silhouette Shochu

Lightly floral and fruity on the nose, slightly savory notes of orange peel and lime peel, with hints of melon and peaches. The palette is simple, with a difficult to place sweetness that gives way to a bitter, astringent finish. The palette almost reads like a banana flavoured candy. Much better drank in a highball with fresh fruit juice

Nose: Quite savory. Some orange comes in, later as well as some canned peach Palate: incredibly light taste, almost watery, especially on the beginning. Finish: As it fades, some of those sweet floral notes return, but overall this is a very neutral shochu. Overall this is a very interesting drink, quite approachable. Works perfect with a large meal, or mixed in a highball.
