INSÓLITO Reposado Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila brand backed by American country band Midland in collaboration with brothers Octavio & Alberto Herrera, owners of Premium de Jalisco which makes the tequila. The distillery, located in the town of Mazamitla, Jalisco is the highest distillery in Mexico at an elevation of 7200 feet. I is made from a blend of Tequila Valley (20%) and Los Altos (80%) agaves.
The reposado expression aged in new American oak barrels for 6-10 months. Available in Texas as of February 2020 with other markets expected to follow. .

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"Insólito's Reposado is light and ethereal in structure from front to back. The nose is boosted by balanced vanilla and caramel with some rosewater and other herbal notes lingering. Melon and honey lead a mild palate that finishes light with some mild bitterness."
