Reviewed June 12, 2021 (edited November 23, 2022)Caramel, maple and pecan on the nose, but not too sweet. Good amount of heat, but that gives way quickly to so many wonderful flavors. Burnt sugar, pecan and fruit. Surprisingly smooth for the proof. Wow. -

Reviewed June 12, 2021 (edited June 21, 2021)Aromas of caramel (or burnt sugar), banana, vanilla, and a hint of spice. Alcohol is surprisingly mild in the nose given the proof. Much more alcohol in the taste but it burns off quick leaving the burnt sugar and vanilla and finishing with banana that lingers on the back of the tongue. -

Reviewed May 19, 2021 (edited September 14, 2021)Damn good. Was blinded this and I thought it was a high rye bourbon. Definitely drinks lower than the proof. Very good rye, but not worth $300 secondary. I use the rating scale below. Distiller uses a scale of 5 and I use a scale of 10, but I’m sure you’re not too drunk to do the math! 1. Disgusting - So bad I poured it out. 2. Poor - I wouldn't consume by choice. 3. Bad - Multiple flaws. 4. Below average - Not bad, but many things I'd rather have. 5. Good - Just average. 6. Very Good - Better than average. 7. Great - Well above average. 8. Excellent - In a league of its own. 9. Incredible - An all-time favorite. 10. Perfect
