Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select

BARREL HOUSE: 2-21 BARREL No. - 22-08090 BOTTLING DATE - 9.27.22 NEAT NOSE - Caramel and Bannana Laffy Taffy PALATE - Oak and Cinnamon. The nose is better than the palate on this one. FINISH - Smooth, Medium. BUY? - It’s a decent whiskey. It’s much better than 80 proof Old No. 7 and it may make for a good daily sipper if you really like the Jack Daniel profile. BUY AGAIN?? - Likely not. I’d rather get the single barrel barrel proof.

at first, literally smells like nail polish remover. then, smell is maple, molasses, caramel. that is somewhat present in the taste, but taste is very spicy and bitter, maybe burnt caramel/chocolate.

Nose: wood, banana, plum, leather Taste: sweet, very sweet like candy also cherry notes on taste. Very impressive finish with more sweetness almsot tastes like cherry cola on finish I flat out love this bottle for $45 you are going to be hard pressed to find a bottle that packs this much flavor. This was my reintroduction into what JD is doing now as i was one who thought it was all old no 7 mixing with coke and ginger ale. Or flat out pounding shots in my younger days just to get hammered lol. This bottle was my gateway bottle into other things JD is doing now and if you havent noticed its pretty dang good stuff.
