This whiskey is not for the faint of heart but please do not just mix this with coke. This is a very interesting whiskey but not surprising or complex for my palate. It's very straight forward and honestly (To Me) it's a Kentucky straight bourbon in disguise lol.
Nose 4/5 - Much like Old No°7 you get banana right off the bat but this is more rix and emersive after that you get brown sugar, Vanilla, toffee, grain, slight blackberry? finished with pepper and molasses, but hey this is all if you can get passed the alcohol burn.
Palate 4/5 - This palate is easy to describe.
Take the old No.7 recipe and age it longer then pull it straight from the barrel to the bottle. Smoke, Wood, dried fruits, spice and caramel.
Price 3.5/5 - $66 is not very welcoming for something that couldn't have been aged for more that 8-10 years, cask strength or not. Still this is something worth experiencing.
