Rick number L-1, barrel 18-9890, bottled on 10/24/18, 67.95 % ABV! The colour is impressive, very dark with almost some sort of a red glow to it. I get glue!?! on the nose, might be the smell of my burning nosehairs though, highest ABV I've tried so far! There's also definitely some maple syrup hidden behind the alcohol. The palate is massive. Brown sugars, lots of it, and cherries, dark and almost overipe ones. The ABV numbes my tongue a bit. After adding some drops of water the maple syrup shows up on the palate and finish followed by some bitter dark chocolate. This is some intense whisky, love it! Cheers all
