Don’t let the low price fool you, this is actually pretty good. I was give a bottle, and assumed it would be a mixer, but was actually quite impressed. Miles above the standard Jim Beam, you can taste it’s youth, but a great value drinker

This is a pretty good yet fairly inexpensive Bottled in Bond expression. There are a few cheaper but this is on par with most. This can easily be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail with no worries. Would like to do blind next to Black for comparison as well as other Bonded.
On the nose the honey, baking spices, and Werther’s Originals. For me the pallet is all apple, charcoal, and tobacco with a very noticeable barrel bitter note at the end. The alcohol is definitely prevalent and presents with bold flavors.
Comes on spicy like Jim Beam does, but finishes surprisingly smooth and smokey. Enjoyable every-day bourbon that is strong enough to let you know you’re drinking it.
Decent bourbon for the price. Easy to sip with not much burn to me. I taste vanilla and peanuts which is something new for me. Tasted better neat than on the rocks.
